Vinos, Vinhos & Tapas is our three-night dash across the Iberian Peninsula – a delicious excuse to eat, drink, mingle and discover a few bottles that may not already be on your radar. Spain brings the vinos, Portugal brings the vinhos, we supply the tapas, and everybody wins.
This is not a sit-down seminar, a pop quiz or two hours of someone lecturing you about soil composition. It is an informal, walk-up tasting built for exploring at your own pace. Taste all seven wines with some tapas selected to complement the lineup, compare notes with your friends, and strike up a conversation with the people next to you. Find a new favorite? At the Friday night in Los Gatos, Luis Moya – the Crazy Cuban himself – returns to the scene. Luis will be behind the table pouring, talking wine and working the room with the kind of enthusiasm that tends to turn a perfectly respectable tasting into a full-blown social occasion. He is only appearing Friday, so Los Gatos gets the extra splash of personality, charm and lovingly controlled chaos.
